HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Each youth can participate individually or integrated to the delegation of their country. Each delegate should cover the transfer costs from their origin country to the city of Cartagena and to pay the inscription fee.

INSCRIPTION

The payment of the fee include: conferences, roundtables, cultural and integration activities. The inscription covers as well , lodging and meals.

One hundred and twenty dollars, 120 dollars for each participant

The preparatory process of the Summit will be developed as follows: the preparatory process in Colombia consist in regional encounters and will finish with the IV National Encounter of Youth in Favor of the Environment Life and Peace, the Virtual School of Formation for Latin-American Youth and the Global Consultation of Youth experiences and initiatives in favor of the Sustainable Development.

 Summit Application 

Virtual Environmental school:

A school of Virtual environmental education will be developed for Latin American youths with the objective of offering tools and to contribute in the qualification of leaders. The school is an opportunity for upgrading knowledge and to develop a collective work on sustainable development. The virtual school will develop chat, virtual conferences, sent of documents, workshops, investigations and other activities. In this school will be able to participate all the interested youth, documents will be available in Spanish.

3. Compilation of Global of Experiences:

It searches to compile experiences, projects and initiatives that youth are developing to contribute as in the implementation of the Agenda 21 like in the implementation of the agreements for the sustainable development. It is not necessary participant in the Summit to send experiences of project. The experiences will be included in a C.D. denominated "Youth Experiences and Projects on Environment and  a Sustainable Development."

This C.D will be launched in the Summit with the objective of to recognize and to give visibility to the proposals and juvenile initiatives, for that reason the experience or initiative should be sent by e.mail before August 3 2003.
